SAVE THE HEATHCOTE ARMS

The Heathcote Arms

A petition has been launched to save the historic Heathcote Arms public house in Grove Green Road, at the junction with Richmond Road, from the developers.

It was sold in September to Equity Estates, however, no planning application has as yet been received by Waltham Forest Council’s Planning Department.

The petition has already gained over 880 signatures.

  1. My firm as you can see on our website specialises in pub turnarounds the last being The Lord Tredegar BOW E3.

We are a family run business and not corporate. We operate our own micro brewery in our pub “The George & Dragon” Acton.
We have funds. Can you direct us to the people who are allegedly selling The Heathcote Arms please?
    Thankyou,
    Robert Thomas
    Prop.

I was interested to get your email. However, I would suggest that you contact the campaigning group of local residents behind the petition as they very likely have the relevant information.

We certainly need local public houses to remain as viable businesses.

A local businessman has obtained a three-year lease and the Heathcote Arms has re-opened
